Camera model made from construction card. I then covered the model with camera themed paper.

Pieces I did while studying art for A level (2013 -2014)
Crayon Carvings
Intaglio dry point Printing
I attended a printmaking workshop (Seacourt Print workshop in Bangor) with my class mates while at school. We were each given a piece of acetate in advance to scratch into using a pin/ needle etc, scratching more densely in more shadowed areas and lighter or no scratches for the highlights. I chose an image of paint brushes in a jar which I took. When we arrived at the workshop we rubbed the ink into the scratches before putting the acetate sheet through a roller printing press which transferred the image onto specially prepared paper.
Here i experimented with different styles. `I attempted two coloured prints , one in more detail, a monochrome print and finally a print with a background pattering using textured wall paper.
Acrylic Camera Painting
An early photograph of a piece I had been working in in A Level art. It isn’t completely finished in the photograph. The theme given to us for art was “Old and New”. I chose to do a project based on cameras. The A2 Acrylic painting above is of one of my favourite old cameras. It was very interesting to paint and i really enjoyed it.
